My first visit to Dr. Phillip Dietrich's Total Health Clinic

Consultation:
Welcome to Total Health Clinic.. In our office you will be Welcomed as member of our family and receptionist will greet with a warm smile. You then be asked to fill out required forms which will help us gain some information about yourself and your condition.
We always recommend to come 15min or so earlier to give you time to fill out the necessary paper work.

Next your consultation with the Dr. Dietrich is to gain enough clinical information, ask questions and discuss your health goals to see if chiropractic is likely to help you. Be prepared to spend more time than you are used to, with a doctor. My job to find out source of the problem and why your body isn’t healing like it wants to. Many times an off hand comment during the consultation reveals an accident that happened years ago and helps uncover the real reason for your current health condition.

Next will be your through Examination this will help identify the cause of your problem.

Examination:

Next comes a through physical examination. This usually consists of: check your range of motion, finding out where your joints are locked up and not having free motion in that area, posture evaluation, measurement of range of motion, bi-lateral weight exam, and standard orthopedic, neurologic examinations. The doctor will gain valuable information regarding your condition so that a better understanding of how chiropractic can help you. If necessary, the doctor will order X-Rays or refer you for additional testing procedures.

Your Second Visit

After we study your health history and correlate our examination findings, we’ll make recommendations designed to help you get and keep your health. We call this the Report of Findings. This is usually attended to on your second visit, which may be later the same day or the following day to give the doctor time to correlate his findings and reduce the length of your first visit, as we don’t want to overload you with too much information.

At your second visit we will answer the questions that everyone asks which typically include:

• Can you help me?
• How long will it take?
• How much will it cost?
• What will my insurance contribute?
• Will it hurt?

After all of your questions are answered care will typically begin at this point.

Treatment

Most of our patients begin to see results from the very first adjustment.
